California Seismic
Dedicated and comprehensive review class to pass the CA Specific Seismic principles exam administered by CA Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists. The class includes textbook, practice exam book, problem solving workshops, homework, class summary sheets, mini-exams and five simulation exams. The class is offered either via live webinars or recorded ondemand videos.
Fundamentals of Engineering (FE)
FE exam review class thoroughly cover each topic based on NCEES’ CBT exam specifications and latest PE Handbook. Handouts include detailed fundamentals, examples, exam like MCQ homework questions, mini-exam for each topic, and a final simulation exam. The class is offered as recorded ondemand videos.
Professional Engineer (PE)
Review classes to pass the NCEES CBT PE examinations. Comprehensive classes covering all Breadth and Depth topics based on latest NCEES exam specifications and PE Handbook. Handouts include detailed fundamentals, examples, exam like MCQ and AIT homework questions, mini-exam for each topic and full practice exam. The classes are offered either via live webinars or recorded ondemand videos.
Structural Engineer (SE)
Review classes to pass the new NCEES CBT PE Structural examinations. Comprehensive classes for both the Vertical component and the Lateral Component including a breadth section and a dedicated section for either Building depth or Bridge depth. Classes cover all topics based on latest NCEES exam specifications and PE Handbook. Handouts include detailed fundamentals, examples, exam like MCQ homework questions and mini-exam for each Breadth topic. Depth topics include workshops and AIT homework questions. The classes are offered either via live webinars or recorded ondemand videos.
Who We Are and What We Do
Advanced Engineering Institute, AEI, is dedicated for quality teaching and enriching the delivery of knowledge to the engineering community, from helping the engineers with their professional license exams, to advancing the knowledge of engineers through Professional development classes, to coaching and mentoring fellow engineers with their career choices and references. AEI prides itself with our commitment and care to our fellow class participants.
- AEI classes are designed for full interaction with class participants. Class participants are expected to solve quizzes and exercises during the class. Weekly homework problems are assigned. Solution and feedback are provided. Practice exams, mini-exams, and simulated exams are administered and designed to match the standard of the NCEES or CA BPELSG exams.
- AEI instructors have a passion for teaching and helping their fellow engineers. All of our instructors are experts in exam preparation. - AEI instructors communicate with our class participants via email, phone, and/or online meetings. We respond to our class participant for their technical questions within 2 business days.
- AEI is committed to helping you pass your exam after taking our review classes. Our instructors work alongside each class participant and one-on-one, when needed, to maximize your chance to succeed. However, in the event that you do not pass after completion of the review session, you may repeat the class for free in the following season. Refer to AEI Policies.
