SE Lateral Forces (Wind/Earthquake)
It is reported that NCEES intends to extend the SE Vertical Depth and Lateral Depth sections by 60 minutes starting April 2026 exam. AEI is accommodating this change to the exam format, and as such any current and new registration to the SE Depth exams will extend until the April 16, 2026 rather than the current October 10, 2025 date. Registration to the Breadth section will remain the same for 6 months from date of registration.
- Registration to the SE Lateral Review Class for the October 2025 CBT SE Lateral exam is open.
- The live Webinars for the Structural Engineer – Lateral Forces (Wind/Earthquake) Exam Review will start on June 22, 2025.
- Separate Breadth and Depth classes for either Building Depth or Bridge Depth. Please see Class Schedule
- Breadth class includes the fundamentals of each topic, solved examples, CBT MCQ workshops, CBT MCQ homework and CBT MCQ Mini-Exams.
- Depth class includes the fundamentals of each topic, solved examples, dedicated workshops, and CBT AIT homework workshops.
- Each class (Breadth and Depth) conclude with full Simulation Exam and Discussion of the exam solution.
- Live Webinars are recorded and class participants have full access to the recorded webinars at no extra charge.
- Digital Class handouts includes: Fundamentals, Examples, Homework, Workshops, Solutions to MCQ Mini Exams, MCQ Workshops and AIT Workshops.
- Class participants will require to install a special viewer and a license to be able to view the secured digital class handouts (PDC). The Digital Class Handout materials are licensed to ONE (1) computer with ONE (1) time allowance to print.
